Authors feature and sign books at festival

Brevard has long been a center for artists such as potters, painters, musicians and sculptors. The Brevard Authors Guild and its eclectic group of founding members has brought the arts full circle locally. Members of the Brevard Authors Guild represent the diversity found across this nation. Who would have imagined a Jungian analyst who writes of Cherokee stories and myths? A philosopher who sees the world and all in it as metaphor? A photojournalist whose stories beckon all who are young at heart?

On July 4 and 5, 2015, during the Arts and Crafts Festival, the collective works of the founding members of the Brevard Authors Guild will be available for purchase at the guild’s tent which will be located in front of Love’s Jewelry. In addition, the following authors will be present to sign their respective books:

On July 5 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Adair Sanders, Patty Young, 12-3 p.m. Mike McCarthy, Alice Wellborn; 3-6 p.m. R.R. Brooks and Clyde Brooks.
